We fix it in your site. Not on top of it.

Most accessibility problems can be fixed in the website you already have, on the platform you already use, without changing how you manage it day to day. We make the fixes, re-test everything, and hand you the evidence.

The short answer

Remediation means fixing the actual code and content so your site works with keyboards, screen readers, and zoom. It's the difference between an accessible site and a widget that claims to make one.

How remediation works

  • We start from the audit, so every fix ties back to a specific, documented finding
  • Code fixes go in through your platform's own tools (for example, Squarespace code injection or a WordPress child theme), so updates don't wipe them out
  • Content fixes (image descriptions, link wording, headings) are made for you or handed over as a short checklist, whichever you prefer
  • Colours are adjusted to pass contrast while staying visibly on-brand. Most people never notice the change
  • Overlay widgets are removed and replaced with an accessibility statement and a real way for visitors to reach you
  • Every fix is re-tested with the same scans and keyboard walk-throughs as the original audit

Typical fixes

  • Image descriptions (alt text) on every meaningful photo
  • Menu buttons that work with Enter, Space, and Esc, not just a mouse
  • Pop-ups that hold keyboard focus and return it when they close
  • A real heading outline so screen-reader users can navigate the page
  • Visible focus rings so keyboard users can see where they are
  • Form labels and error messages that are announced, not just shown in red
  • Links and buttons with names that make sense out of context

The evidence package

When we're done you get a remediation record: the site as we found it, what we changed and when, before-and-after screenshots, the final test results, and an accessibility statement for your site. It's written so you can hand it to an attorney, an insurer, or a landlord without needing us in the room. We're happy to join that call if it helps.

Clients

From the owners we work with.

“Albert didn't just hand us a report. The fixes went right into our Squarespace site, we saw every before and after, and we got documentation we could hand to anyone who asked. When questions came up afterward, Albert was on the call with us. Albert is the first person I call about anything on the website now.”

Questions

Common questions.

  • Almost never. We've remediated live Squarespace sites without rebuilding a single page. A rebuild only makes sense when the site needed one anyway.

Find out where your site stands.

Send us your website and we'll personally check your home page and one key page (menu, booking, or contact) with the same keyboard, screen-reader, and contrast tests we use in a full audit. You'll get a short, plain-English summary of what we found.

  • · Checked by a person, not an automated report
  • · No obligation and no sales sequence
  • · Works for Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and custom sites
